Over the years of living and travelling around the world I met a lot of different people from all over the globe and every time I would introduce myself as someone from Uzbekistan, I’d hear the funniest reactions — almost everyone from almost everywhere didn’t know where — or what — Uzbekistan was — what was this long cumbersome word that few people could pronounce… Many times I had to swear it is indeed a real country ;) And many times people would actually be interested to
Probably every couple has those weird pet names they give each other. Well, nice to meet you, we are Porky and Caribou. We won’t go in details here how we ended up being these two creatures, but need to mention that we both are from different universes. It’s sort of metaphorical in a way — maybe it’s wrong for Caribous to fall in love with Porkies, but… that’s what they do sometimes! We would love to share our love story with you, as a little example that love knows no border

She lived her life with much integrity and has kept her good
So many people around me are trying to awaken their “inner child”, while my problem is that my “inner adult” was never even born… When I was little, I always thought that “30” is a magical age when one becomes a “grown up”. I have patiently waited through all the 365 days of my 30, but then I just turned 31, and … I haven’t grown up yet! WITH FAMILY: They once had high expectations towards my glorious adulthood, but now are just trying to understand when did they forget to in
Toronto Public Library system is my favourite part about this city. I was absolutely happy to show I AM FROM UZBEKISTAN to the fellow book lovers through its Art Exhibits platform. I hope now there are more people who can pronounce this name correctly 😋 #iamfromuzbekistan #illustration #doodle #exhibition #torontopubliclibrary #artexhibits #alfergani #doodles #uzbekistan #culture
